He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haferkamp and Leona Haferkamp (Streeb). He is survived by: his son Craig Haferkamp of Springfield; his grandsons, Samuel and Benjamin Haferkamp; and his sister Mary Radell (Richard) of Milwaukee, WI.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
