Helen L. Sorenson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2024, at the age of 78, Helen L. Sorenson of Springfield, Illinois, born in Plainwell, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Laverne and Olive Lucille Ash (Lent); her siblings, Barb Jaques and John Ash; and her stepson Bob Sorenson, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Bob Sorenson; her son Cordell Scott of Springfield; her stepdaughters, Tammy Chester (Jim) of Springfield and Kirsten Bilan (Peter) of Albuquerque, NM; her brothers, Ken Ash (Colette) of Springfield and Bill Ash of Gainesville, FL.; and her grandchildren, Don Rodier (Amanda), April Weller, Chase Chester and Robert Colton Sorenson. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
