We bid farewell to Halfred J. Hildebrand Jr. of Springfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2024 at the age of 95. Halfred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Halfred J. Sr. Hildebrand and Hilda F. Maurer Hildebrand; his sister Jackie Mason; and his great grandchild Abby. He is survived by: his wife Lauretta Hildebrand; his children, Joe Hildebrand (Tina), Dawn Haley (Paul), Gail Sullivan (John), Kathy Sutzer (Jim), John Hildebrand (Debbie Davis) and Mary Jones (Rod); and his brother Jim Hildebrand. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
