He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Madge Brown; and his sisters, Maxine Kaen (Brown) and Janice Brown. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Decker; his children, Greg Brown (Margaret), Scott Brown (Cyndi) and Beth Brown; his siblings, Sally Shepard (McCollom) and Jim McCollom; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan (Virginia), Declan, Jared and Mairead.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home - Chatham (8855 State Rte 4, Chatham, IL 62629). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (2941 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711).
