He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Zoellner and Leona Hoehn; and his brothers, Robert Zoellner (Georgia), Kent Zoellner and Curt Zoellner.

He is survived by: his children, Therese L. Hondlik (Phillip) of St. Charles, IL, Tricia Garecht (Andy) of Rochester, Todd Zoellner (Cheryl) of Springfield and Troy Zoellner (Kelly) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Frank (Lexie), John, Zach Hondlik, Nathan Zoellner, Josh Garecht (Erin), Heather Garecht, Paige Pickerill (Brayden), Dalton Garecht, Jaret and Julia Zoellner; his great grandchildren, Lyra Beau Hondlik, Izzy, Bronx Garecht, Brooklynn, Gio and Bostyn Cody; and his sister Faye Barks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Interveterans Burial Detail or the Parkinson's Foundation.
