We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2023, at the age of 87, Gerald D. Winner of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Thomas and Carrie Mae Winner (Kruse); and his siblings, Harold Winner, Melvin Winner, Donald Winner, Glenn Winner, Betty Ingledue, Delores Kern and Marie Lounsberry.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Foster; his children, Gary Winner (Dawn) of St. Louis, Darryl Winner of Springfield and Julie Schneider (Pete) of Springfield; his stepdaughter Jill Moyer (John) of Athens, Illinois; his grandchildren, Angela Westwood, Camie Leonard (Ben), Jynelle Moyer and Zachery Massey; and his brother Richard Winner (Judy) of Alexandria, Virginia.. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, New York 10018.
