He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Edgar Pierce and Hazel Marie Pierce (Leslie); and his sisters, Betty Baker and Pat Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Helen Letitia Cantrall; his children, Susan Elaine Whigham (Bob), Eric Kristin Pierce (Jane) and Dr. Jonathan Elliott Pierce (Mary); his grandchildren, Jason Chase, Anna Slinsky (Jason), Michael Pierce, Emily Rahlwes (Chris), Andrew Pierce (Haleigh Prather), Katie Pierce, Jonathan David Pierce (Meghan), Laura Anne Ketter (Patrick) and Claire Marie Pierce (Nate Kearney); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Brenna Chase, Jason, Daniel Slinsky, Johanna Rahlwes, Zoey, Micah, Ethan Pierce, Jackson Pierce and Jonathan James Ketter; and his foster children, Marli, Claudio, Ivan Quadros and Roger Nowell.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson Park Funeral Home - Rochester (200 E Main St, Rochester, IL 62563). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
