He was predeceased by: his parents, Birda Tyler-Brown and George Brown Sr.; his brothers, Jasper Brown, Leon Brown, Oscar Brown, George Brown Jr. and James Wells; and his nephew Charles Williams Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Floyd T Brown Jr., Michael Brown, Walter Pollard, Christina Brown-Wright, Hope Brown and Dawn Brown; and his siblings, Louis Brown, Birda Robinson (Parish Robinson) and Gladys Brown. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
