It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elesia Faith Wilson of Springfield, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandmother Doris Floyd; her aunt Latonya Hodges; and her great-grandparents, Alan McCumber, Lonnie and Fern Meredith.
She is survived by: her parents, Elijah Wilson of Greenville, MS and Shawna Meredith of Springfield; her sister Eliana Wilson; her grandparents, Mark and Karen Meredith of Springfield; her great-grandparent Joyce McCumber of Springfield; and her aunts, Erica (Lance Morgan) of Springfield and Brianna Meredith of Springfield. She is also survived by many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
