Edward D. Stanfield Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2024, at the age of 77, Edward D. Stanfield of Springfield, Illinois, born in Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward D. Campbell and Martha Stanfield (Theroux); his wife Malinda A. Cochran; his sons, Ed Stanfield, Jr. (Kelly) of Rochester, Bill Stanfield (Lisa) of Chatham and Joe Stanfield of Chatham; his grandchildren, Brennan Stanfield, Katlynn Clardy, Caleb Stanfield and Olivia Clardy; his close friend Barb Woods of Springfield; and his siblings, Allen Stanfield of Cheyenne, WY, Amy Evans (Mike) of Winchester, KY, Ann Dona of Downs and Molly Ryan (Tom Flemming) of Reston, VA. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to the Farmersville-Waggoner Ambulance Service.
