Simpson of Springfield, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Lind and Pearl Lind (Nall); and her daughter Terri Carnduff. She is survived by: her children, Mark Simpson (Diane) of New Berlin, IL, Sean Simpson (Jeanette Malafa) of Springfield and Michelle Ryals (Carl) of Greer, SC; her grandchildren, Jennifer Carnduff-Lewis (Ryan Lewis), Cory Carnduff, Laura Sharrow (Dalton), Abigail Simpson, Paul Simpson, Cecilia Simpson, Jane Simpson, Sarah Simpson and Lydia Sullivan; and her great grandchildren, Rowena Lewis, Rhys Lewis and Walter Sharrow.
