It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Zumwalt of Springfield, Illinois, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Zumwalt and Opal Campbell Zumwalt; and his sister Peggy Olson. He is survived by: his sons, Ron Zumwalt of Springfield and Dave Zumwalt of Riverton; his grandchildren, Kayla and Noah Zumwalt; his brother Richard Zumwalt (Anita); and his brother-in-law Jim Olson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
