She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Barnes and Maggie F. Barnes (Turner); her brothers, Freddie Barnes Sr. and John Anthony Barnes; and her husband Roy R. Dunn Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Francine M. Mason (Sherman) of Springfield, IL, Shantel N. Smith of Springfield, IL, Teela D. Whyte of Springfield, IL, Roy R. Barnes Jr. (Sherrese Walker) of Springfield and Keeyn "Kenny" Dunn of Orlando, Florida; and her siblings, Francine Barnes of Belleville, Jacqueline "Jackie" Barnes of Belleville, Felicia Barnes-Gordon of St. Louis, Missouri, Leon Barnes of Utah and LeRoy Barnes of Belleville. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
