It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dena Marie Wassell of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Dean Sidener. She is survived by: her mother Barb Moser Sidener (Cecil); her sons, Garret Wassell of Taylorville and Eric Wassell (Willa Coleman) of Mascoutah; her grandchildren, Wyatt and Zuri; and her siblings, Cindy Sidener of Springfield and Rick Sidener of Kentucky.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Dena Marie Wassell.
