Burnett in Springfield, Illinois, born in Sullivan, Missouri, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Burnett and Edith Burnett; her brothers, Thomas and Richard Burnett; her brother-in-law Gary Cunningham; and her grandparents, Orville, Opal Burnett, Walter and Viola Richters.
She is survived by: her son Darren Dwyer of Salem, IL; her husband Dennis Sampson of Salem, IL; her sister Gay Cunningham (Ross Pulvere) of Heber City, UT; her nephews, Derek Burnett (Madison) of Kansas City, MO, Christopher Cunningham of Heber City, UT, Clayton Cunningham of Vail, CO and Aiden Burnett; her niece Madeline Burnett of Phoenix, AZ; her cousins, Sonny Sappington (Missy), Dale Branson (Penny), Dawn Roberts, Debbie Radford (Shannon), Beth Everett (Scott), Shelly Jannings (Mike), Lisa Crawford, Carmen Sappington, Retisha Richters and Regina Peak; her friend Larry Rogers of Salem, IL; her stepson Tug Sampson (Aimee); her stepgrandchildren, Wayland, Sterling and Aubree; her pets, Hoot, Libby and Dewey; and also, David Marcum (Danielle), Owen, Cora and Emery of Salem, IL.
