He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bernard and Juanita Jeanette Phillips (Hawkins); his wife Mary Ann Emerson; his siblings, Judith Halcom, Daniel Dean and James Phillips; and his nieces, Sally Hathaway, Sarah Kerwin and Rebecca Turner.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Kerwin and Rose Phillips Black; his nieces and nephews, Sharon McQuire, Stephen Kerwin, Sherri Kay, Richard Huddleston, Kathryn Ream, Jeanette Booker and Michael Gullidge; his sister-in-law Barbara Phillips; his nephew Robert Emerson; and his aunt Martha Phillips.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kincaid Church of God (120 Market St, Kincaid, IL 62540). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
