It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Murray of Springfield, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Murray and Rosella Crafton Murray; and his sister Susan Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Ruriko Murray of Springfield; his children, Christine Lee (Joe) of Springfield and John Murray (Robin) of Pleasant Plains; his grandchildren, Samantha Murray (Justin Miller) of Osceola, IN, Joe and Elizabeth Lee of Springfield; his great grandchildren, Syrix, Stryder and Beckham Miller; his brothers, Phil Murray (Mary) and Tom Murray (Julie); and his brother-in-law Randy Simpson.
