With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Gregory Sprinkle of Springfield, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Gary L. Sprinkle; his grandparents, Eleanor, William Henry Sprinkle, Walter and Bobbie Maton; and his pet Charlie Brown.
He is survived by: his mother Maureen A. Maton Schaefer (Greg) of Springfield; his siblings, Melissa Allen of Springfield, Brad Sprinkle (Jamie) of Springfield and Jeff Sprinkle of Chatham; his stepbrother Jeremy Schaefer (Corinne); and his nieces and nephews, Abigail Allen, Violet Schaefer, Brady Sprinkle, Ethan Sprinkle, Chase Sprinkle and Gaige Sprinkle. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
