He is survived by: his mother Nancy Downey of Springfield; his daughter Kaitlyn Downey of Springfield; his granddaughters, Delilah Britton, Iris Mehan and Violet Mehan; and his siblings, Daniel Downey Jr. (Linn) of Springfield, Darren Downey of Springfield and Nicole Downey-Padget (Wayne) of Springfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
