It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dareth C. Branham of Springfield, Illinois, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dareth may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hugo and Gussie Lou Branham (Brooksher). He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca L. Scranton (John); his grandchildren, Joshua L. Scranton and Abigail J. Scranton; his children, Chris Branham (Brenda) and Amy Branham; and his grandchild Aidan Branham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
