He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth William and Alphild Leona Pladsen O'Brien; his sister Patricia O'Brien Rehder; and his brother-in-law Denny Rehder. He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Anne (James) of Arlington, VA, Timothy (Abagail) of Milwaukee, WI and Peter (Katherine) of Ames, IA; his sister Colleen Randel (Ron) of Tyler, TX; and his grandchildren, Marie, Rosalie and Maeve. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Parkinson Foundation, The Joy of Movement, a local organization serving Springfield, IL, or a charity of the donor's choice.
