Dale Huston Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Huston of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederic W. Huston (Ted) and Dorothy B. Huston (Jardine); and his brother Frederic W. Huston Jr. (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Judy Huston; his children, Chad Huston (Kara) of Springfield and Dana Huston of Springfield; his grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin and Callista (Callie) of Springfield; and his brother Dennis Huston (Irja) of Maumee.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (533 S Walnut St, Springfield, IL 62704). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Drummer Township Cemetery (419 S West St, Gibson City, IL 60936).
Memorial donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, First Presbyterian Church of Gibson City or a charity of the donor's choice.
