Dyess; her sister Juanita Thomas; her former husband Herman Gales Sr.; her children, Herman Gales Jr., Denise Tillman (Gerald), Sonia Gales, Theresa Hamilton (Dana) and Michael Gales; and her grandchildren, Hackeem A. Bishop of Jessica, L. A, Herman Gales III, Justice A. Tillman, Danielle N. Wallace, Ronald E. McCoy II, Shaqur A. Lenzie, Isaih E. Williams and Omeir K. Gales. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren along with a host of family, friends.
