We bid farewell to Constance J Stanley of Springfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 30, 2024 at the age of 70. Constance touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil J. Alexander and Luella P. Wright Alexander; her siblings, Thomas, Kevin, Joseph "Joe" Alexander, Jennie Alexander and Barbara Alexander-Jones; and her aunt Mary Weiss.
She is survived by: her daughter Shawn Stanley (Terry McMillin) of Springfield; her siblings, Julie Holm of Chula Vista, CA and Carl Alexander of Lawndale, CA; her grand-furbabies, Bruno and Junebug; and her grandchildren, Kevin Rensman and Ashley Bauereiss. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home-Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Washington Street Mission, or Central Illinois Food Bank.
