He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Miller and Dorothy Diggs Miller; and his siblings, Bobby Miller and Delores Groves. He is survived by: his children, Alan Miller of Springfield, Barry Miller (Stephanie) of Oxnard, CA and Lori Feger (Tom) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler Miller of Oxnard, Alex Feger of Springfield and Alyssa Feger of Springfield; and his sisters, Lavona Knapp of Forest City, MO and Janice Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be given to the Sangamon County Inter-Veterans Burial Detail, 2108 Palo Alto Drive Springfield, IL 62711.
