We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2025, at the age of 91, Bobby Gene McCormick of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bobby leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McCormick and Pauline McCormick (Boehm); his siblings, Ralph (Imogene), Margaret (Maurice) and Lucille (Carl); and his son Robert Sean McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Balzer; his daughter Kim Stegeman (Mark) of Orcutt, CA; and his grandchildren, Ashley Stegeman of Capitola, CA, Kristin James (Alec) of Santa Maria, CA and Jack Stegeman of Menlo Park, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
