He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vogt and Luella Vogt (Shanle); and his brother John Vogt. He is survived by: his sisters, Bonnie Vogt of Springfield and Mary Stake (Robert) of Arizona; his nieces and nephews, Josh Locker, Jennifer Foster (Travis) and Jamie Watford; and his great-niece Skye Foster.
