With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bhikkhu T. R. Mahinda (Springfield, Illinois), who passed away on December 18, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Chandana Mahinda (Stacy), Ranjini JohnBull (Eric) and Nonni Wagner (Josh); and his sister Kusuma. He is also survived by his family time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate funds to the Sri Lanka Association of the Midwest for the Bhikkhu Mahinda Student Scholarship fund.
