She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Britz and Marie E. Miller Britz; her husband Kenneth Loren Wessing; her grandson Timothy Jon Wessing II; and her siblings, Evelyn, Adeline, Wanda, Gladys, James and Jack.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Wessing (Dana) of Yelm, WA, Timothy Wessing (Connie) of Pittsfield, IL, Paul Wessing (Kelly) of Farmersville, IL, Kenneth Wessing, Jr. of Chatham, James Wessing of Springfield, Betty Sue Roberts (Allen) of Farmersville and Linda Neal (William) of Riverton. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
