It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey J. Thompson of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Jacoby and Elsie Jacoby; her husband Edward Thompson; and her son Rodney E. Thompson. She is survived by: her son Thomas Thompson (Sherry) of Springfield; her daughter-in-law Pamela Thompson of Girard; her grandsons, Daniel Thompson (Cary) of Girard and Jacob Thompson of St. Charles, MO; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Gleckler (Veronica) of Spring, TX, Kimberly Shull of New Berlin and Kandace Freeman (Jonathan) of Rochester; and her sisters, Letitia Sharp of Springfield and Patricia Craig of Hilmar, CA. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
