Anita Myers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2024, at the age of 74, Anita Myers of Springfield, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Lee and Barbara Lee Jones (Cheney); and her siblings, Kayla McGrain, Marion Samuelson, Alan Cheney and Fritz Cheney.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Shineman; her children, Brandy Garrett (Adrian) of Springfield, Kelley Rubini (Tracey) of Peoria and Deandre Miller of Springfield; her grandchildren, Christopher Dworsack (LaToya), Dracey Rubini (Hope), Stacey Rubini (Ellen), Aarron Rubini (Amanda), Tracea Rubini, Alyssa Myers and Aleigha Harter (Paul); her sister Susie Cheney Rodd; and her cousin Fred Jones. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
