He was predeceased by: his parents, Americo Sr. Gaio and Edith Gaio (Bloom); his son Greg Lovekamp; and his brothers, Paul and Raymond Gaio.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Gaio; his children, Janice Williams (Stephan), Kristie Little (Willie), Marty (Laura), Wes, Michael and Brad Lovekamp (Ginger); and his sister Mary Contri. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
