He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Sr. Speck and Florence I. Speck (Feuchter); and his brother James Speck. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Bergevin; his sons, Randy Speck (Connie) of Fort Myers, FL, David Speck (Barbra) of Springfield, Douglas Speck of Springfield and Steve Speck of Biloxi, MS; his grandsons, Michael Speck (Katie) and Timothy Speck; and his great grandchildren, Kai and Finley Speck.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home- Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (1930 Barberry Dr, Springfield, IL 62704).
