He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McGrath and Beatrice McGrath (Mc Fadden); his son Gregory McGrath; and his siblings, Bob, Tom, Jack and June.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Eppley of Spring Valley; his children, Diane McGrath of Chicago Hts and Kevin McGrath (Danielle) of Spring Valley; and his sister Sue Zaher of Chicago Ridge. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
