He is survived by: his children, Daniel Burkhart (Helen) of LaSalle, Rebecca Bertrand (Jeff) of Pontiac and Amy Rutherford (David) of Spring Valley; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Bertrand (Danielle), Andrea Bertrand, Courtney Burkhart, Cassie Burkhart and Travis Rutherford; and his great grandchildren, Tegan Rutherford and Norah Bertrand.
