It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Dempsey of Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dempsey and Elizabeth Dempsey (Bryant); and his siblings, Carol, Danny, Billy, Sheldon, Tim, Phil and Shawn.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son Mark Dempsey (Anna); his grandchildren, Jack, Lila and Cora; and his sisters, Jewel Fields of Kentucky and Susie Carter (Dennis) of West Virginia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Ray's family kindly suggests donations in Ray's memory be made to Cops 4 Cancer.
