He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Kurtz and Judith Kurtz (Kneebone); his daughters, Cassandra Kurtz of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and Emily Kurtz of Spring Valley; his sister Karry Kurtz of Spring Valley; his nephews, Kyle Duever and Joseph Bacidore; his niece Kaitlin Duever; his brother Walter "J. R."; and his grandparents, Dr. Ralph, Evelyn Kneebone, Walter and Anna Kurtz.
