We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2019, at the age of 81, Lynn Filippini (Spring Valley, Illinois), born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olinto Filippini and Mary Filippini (Cioni); and his sister Louise DeSerf. He is survived by: his wife Joann Riva; his children, Mike Filippini (Joanna) of Spring Valley, Kathy Zidow (Joe) of Peru and Susan Covington (Mark) of Naperville; his grandchildren, Matthew Zidow of New York, NY, Andrew Zidow (Lindsey) of LaSalle, Steven Zidow (Olivia) of Chicago, Lauren Tosh (Matt) of Fenton, MO, Kyle Covington (Lauren) of Oswego, Morgan and Maggie Filippini of Spring Valley; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin Zidow, Amelia Tosh and Jackson Covington. He is also survived by 3 nephews; and 1 niece.
Memorial donations in Lynn's honor can be made to the OSF St. Francis Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Peoria, Hall High School Athletics, or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
