He is survived by: his mother Retha Newlin of Elizabethtown, IL; his wife Janet of Spring Valley; his stepsons, Chuck Hughes of Terre Haute, IN and Don Hughes of Aurora; his sons, William M. Newlin of DePue and Leonard Shawn Newlin of Somonauk; his stepson William James Lake of Aiea, HI; his daughter Jennifer Newlin of Pensacola, FL; his siblings, Marilyn, Charlie, Carol and Susan; and also, Rebecca Newlin of Spring Valley, Chris Newlin of Aurora and Jessica Turnage of Spring Valley. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
