He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Smith (Loving) of Spring Valley; his children, Sonya Racine of LaSalle and Jeffrey Smith (Jennifer) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; his stepsons, Edward Kowalski (Dena) of Spring Valley and William Kowalski (Kelli) of LaSalle; his sister Yvonne Glaspy-Jackson of Edgewater, FL; his grandchildren, Jared, Julia, Kyle, Cally, Lanie and Carlie; and his great grandchild Brooke.
