He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Adkins and Gertrude Adkins (Douglas); his grandmother Cassie Douglas; his wife Arlene Morton; his sons, Ron Hansen (Theresa) of Tiskilwa and Wade Adkins of Davenport; his grandsons, Daniel Hansen of Peru and Nicholas Hansen (Carli) of Malden; his great grandchildren, Phinnley and Merrick; and his son Ryan.
