Jerry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Marlett and Bonnie Marlett Sr. (Hash); his nephew TJ Stevens; and his pet Frankie. He is survived by: his children, Angelica Marlett (Arkeise Haith) of Ladd, Alex Marlett of Granville and Justin Perez of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Lucy, Haylee, Ava, Mia, Riverly, Jace, Carter and Shon; and his siblings, Connie Thompson (Ron) of Spring Valley, Sherry Drnach (Charlie Walker) of Peru, John Marlett (Mary) of La Salle and Jerald J. Marlett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurst Funeral Home (650 5th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family.
