George E. Thompson Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearle Thompson and Margaret Thompson (Bennett); his wife Judy; and his sisters, Carole Jean Davis and Nancy Uranich.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith Trimmer; his children, Kathy Matthews (Bill) of Oglesby, Robert Thompson (Laura) of Katy, TX, Steven Thompson of Princeton and Alan Thompson (Leigh-Anne) of Oglesby; his grandchildren, Dylan, Izabella (Izzy), Elijah (E. J.), Christina (Chrissy), Amanda (Mandy), Megan, Ellie and William (Billy); and his siblings, Marguerite Murphy of Aurora, Millie Bruski of Peru, Anna Schweickert (Tom) of Collinsville and John Thompson (Carol) of Warrenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, at the Barto Funeral Home in Spring Valley.
