He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sever and Margrette Sever (McDonald); his wife Dena Bettocchi; and his siblings, Ken and Colleen Swift.

He is survived by: his daughters, Doreen Angelo (Rick) of Spring Valley and Linda Seibert (Dennis) of Spring Valley. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild; 1 great great grandson.
