We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2018, at the age of 88, Carl Peter Mattioda (Spring Valley, Illinois), born in Streator, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alice. He is survived by: his children, Maureen Gualandri, Polster Gualandri of Spring Valley, Molliann Gualandri (Jody) of Metamora and Mark Mattioda (Mary) of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Courtney Ator (Edward), Carlee Frkol (Matthew), Polster Jr., Kurt Mattioda, Christopher Mattioda (Nicole), Elizabeth Stenoish (Jeff), Dr Katie Crawley (Ryan), Joseph Gualandri (Elizabeth), Michael Gualandri and Anna Gualandri; and his great grandchildren, Alice Ator, Jack Ator, Shaylee, Luke, Dominic Mattioda, Abigail Stenoish, Emma Stenoish, Ezekiel, Lillian and Ignatius Gualandri.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dr. Carl and Alice Mattioda memorial scholarship fund at St. Bede Academy or Crittenton Centers in Peoria in memory of Dr. Mattioda.
