It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Volkhard William Bruno Becker of Spring Grove, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Karl Franz and Frieda Minna Friederike. He is survived by: his wife Hannelore Hofmann; his sons, David Becker (Sharon) of Long Lake, IL and Dirk Becker (Kimberly) of Davis, IL; his grandchildren, Alex, Tara, Devin and Dennis Becker; his great grandchild Maya; his siblings, Susanne, Erdmute, Heidi and Dirk; and also, Hubert, Ingrid, Jurgen, Marie-Luise, Rudiger and Uwe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
