With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard T. E. Sylvester of Spring Grove, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sylvester and Rosalie Sylvester; his brother Ben Sylvester; and his nephew Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann; his son John Sylvester; his sisters, Karin Jenkins, Yvonne Sylvester and Anna "Maly" Henkel; and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Jerry, Carl and Kevin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dick's name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or American Veterans (AMVETS).
