She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Kalamyer and Clara Kalamyer (Lekpa); her husband Ronald Eckman; her siblings, Lorraine Mytys and Richard Kalamyer; her siblings-in-law, Tyra Johnson (Eckman), Daniel Johnson and Robert Eckman; and her son-in-law Robert Heady.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Wirch (Richard), Suzanne Thomas (John), Cynthia Scothorn, Sara Redmann (Dave) and Michael Eckman (Roger); her grandchildren, Heather Wirch, Jonathan Wirch (Brandi), Christopher Redmann (Zoe) and Jacob Redmann; and her great grandchildren, Elin and Emerson Wirch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
