He was predeceased by : his father James Reed Ferrell; his aunt Connie Coleman; and his uncle Herold Coleman. He is survived by : his mother Jeanette Collins; his children, Jared Reed Ferrell and Chelsi Ferrell; his brothers, Marvin Ferrell and Mike Coleman; and his nieces and nephews, Angelica Ferrell, Paige Ferrell, James Ferrell and Eli Coleman.
