James S. Stockwell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. Stockwell (Spring Grove, Illinois), who passed away on March 18, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stockwell and Mary Stockwell (Coughlin); and his wife Margit. He is survived by: his children, Jim (Kathy) of Johnsburg, Carin Shales (Jack) of Spring Grove, Cathie Stockwell of Wauconda and John (Alyssa) of Kensoha, WI.; his grandchildren, Bryan, Jack, Amber, Sara, Kyle, Zach, Molly, Leighton and Abriella; and his siblings, Tom Stockwell (Elaine), Mary Kay Doyle (late Kieran), Louise Roth (late Robert) and Ann Alesi. He is also survived by his sons, friends, and siblings.
In view of the shelter in place order during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jim's services are TENTATIVELY scheduled for Visitation on Sunday, May 3, 2020 from 2:00 p. m. - 6:00 p. m. at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL. with a funeral mass to follow on Monday, May 4th, 2020.
Memorial donations can be made to the Prostate Cancer Research Center or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
